Another $248 billion cut to Medicare coupled with $500 billion cut to Medicare delivered by Obamacare.

A $72 billion dollar cut to Medicaid after mandating the bottom 8% of earners to be put on state Medicaid rolls due to Obamacare.

This is the party looking out for seniors and the poor??? Wasn't Obamacare supposed to be the grand idea that was going to stabilize healthcare, specifically Medicare and Medicaid? Why is he messing it with again?

With the payroll tax decrease being extended, how long until we hear about the worsening shortfall in SS funds, and the need for another "fix"?

Does this guy even have a clue WTF he's doing? Each idea he comes up with
makes things worse.

I heard Obama say to an audience that if they loved him, they need to help pass this bill. If he really loved us, he'd just get the hell out of the way and let someone who knows what to do get behind the wheel.

Hillary, where are you?

Our government is like an extremely obese person, and the right-wingers are like
"hey you should go on a diet if you want to survive", and the left-wingers are like
"hey why do you want to destroy this lovely human being?"

Always with the wild exaggerations. We do NOT want to DESTOY the fed. We just want it to reign in its out of control actions and spending.

Obama has increased spending by about 24%. Reducing the spending will surely help.

The fed has enough money. it just keeps spending MORE then they bring in.

Who was it that said we shouldn't raise taxes during a recession? Hey, wasn't that Obama? Yes, yes it was. Back in 09. Obama was very clear.

Oh, and I like how the *******s no longer use the word taxes. Now it's raising revenue

Besides, why are we looking to the one who has dug the whole faster and deeper than any other President in history for a solution?

It's insanity.

Actually it gets better than that. I believe Obama has called it "cutting spending in the tax code"

You have that backwards, the federal government is destroying this country through its over-reach of Constitutionally enumerated powers and its complete dysfunction due to its behemoth size.

Would you similarly ask why a surgeon would want to remove a malignant tumor? Our federal government has become a parasite upon this country. It must be pared down in size before it kills the patient. Like a maliganancy it is taking all the vitality from its host, the people.

Considering the high unemployment I am not sure how much actual money is going to come in,or solve any problems.

Default Obama is a scourage upon the earth.

Obama is all about politics and is playing the class warfare card entirely to garner votes from people he feels back him regardless of his actions and are the most blindly ignorant followers the world has ever seen. Obama relies on them to not critically examine what he proclaims.

No right thinking human can possibly see Obama as sincere or competent.

His solutions are bumper sticker slogans without substance. He speaks directly to the descendants of the crowds that burned witches. He reverses his positions constantly without a critical glance from the media.

This 'tax the rich, make them pay their fair share' fails the math test and plays one group against the other. The math says otherwise. logic says otherwise. Obama has demonstrated ethics and character that reflect the worst leaders that the world has ever known. His solution to our economic troubles is to raise the taxes!!!!!!!!!!???????????

So if a small per cent of people pay more than 50% of all taxes and around 50% pay no taxes, how is it fair to make the largest contributors pay even more and to suggest those very tax payers are somehow cheating the rest of the country?

Add up the money Obama would derive from all those millionaires and the sum is paltry. It has no bearing on even a pretext at solving our problems.
Yet Obama minions can waste half a billion dollars on a company that they say is leading the solar industry. You trust a man who spends millions of dollars to create a single job paying less than 100K. Give that a****ole more tax money to waste???

We should be sooo stupid as to give the government more money which gets diverted and wasted ????

Obliterate the tax code.

Do not blindly take a sword to the cash cow and then waste the meat and hide.

Do you think the money makers stash their money in a jar in the backyard?

They invest in businesses where the rest of us who have worked and saved, invest our money.

The sound of digging you hear is not the sound of shovel ready projects at infrastructure sites....it is the sound of Obama digging us deeper in debt.

The Republicans are sooo stupid they allow obama to get away with this strategy.

Our political arena imitates a poorly directed 1930's talking movie.
