Isn't tax evasion usually handled by the IRS and not the EPA? Is the EPA now a branch of the DOJ?

Fuel tax.

My guess is he ran red dyed fuel (off road) in trucks on the public roadway.

It would have had to be a big company.

Most of the time it is about $18,000 fine for one truck, I never heard of jail time.

That is why I have two diesel storage tanks.

Why not ? If the FDA can do swat style raids then the EPA can put out wanted posters.
