It's been almost 20 years since Australia had gay people serving openly in the military. Glad to see the US has finally caught up.

Duh, macho military men can't deal with a gay guy sharing a shower with them. Therefore, gays do not deserve to serve their country.

Better late than never, I guess. This policy should have been scrapped long ago. That it wasn't, is embarrassing.
