If you've got at least your private, then you know enough about the FAA to know that they move at the speed of molasses. I mean they still haven't made any real changes to crew rest minimums, even after the Colgan Q400 crash. Good luck getting them to eliminate an entire class of positive control airspace in our lifetime.

It is about raising taxes and 'the rich' are always the first target. Those new taxes will eventually trickle down to all of us though because the last thing Obama ever wants to do is cut the size of government.
Bring back the "free flight" initiatives and allow planes to take the shortest route to their destination instead of flying in pre-arranged invisible highways in the sky.

The problem with getting rid of Class A airspace is that is where all the commercial and Part 135 traffic flys..you have to maintain positive control there mate!

Why not ask him instead of making stuff up?

I don't think Buffett has to think like a poor or middle class Americans, about a $100 bill. And I doubt he does.

plus over the ocean you can over take commerical jets and burn alot of fuel but if you fly like a jackass you can meet some U.S. F-15's or Canadian F-18's and mu guess is the EU has their version of NORAD.

but mach .92 is not bad for a commerical business jet if your a rich CEO and can afford to rent them

You do understand the absolute mayhem that would be created if airliners/corporate operators simply flew their own made up routes in Class A or any other airspace???? Netjets alone does around 6-700 total flights per day. Now throw in thousands of airline flights, regional airline flights, corporate operators, charter operators..

If a mid-air collision a week is acceptable, then maybe it's a feasible idea....

If it passes or not I don't think he's worried about it.

I hope it passes, if they are using our air traffic systems, why not?
