Look for Obama's approval ratings to go up DRAMATICALLY now that he's finally realized you can't compromise with today's crazy GOP
Obama 2012- there is just no rational alternative.
What is it that has changed your mind back to Obama so drastically? Do you remember how much against him you were just a few days ago? Oh yeah, you all of a sudden think he doesn't want to compromise with Republicans. Hell he wasn't trying to do that weeks ago when he asked for twice as much in spending from them after they gave in to him once. Oh, yeah he has really been trying to compromise with Republicans.
How about you defining compromise for me so I will know what it is.
Obama's approval ratings are in the toilet, yet he beats the Republic frontrunner in the most recent polls. What should that tell you? Americans are unhappy ... duh! (worst economic crisis, I can recall) Obama didn't start this, and he either a) made it worse, or b) kept it from getting worse depending on who you believe.
Regardless, in bad times, voters are looking to switch horses. They clearly do not like what the other side has to offer though -- again, look at the polls. The Republic Party should win in 2012, but the Teas just may ruin it for them. It's going to be an interesting election cycle.

I agree that it is going to be an interesting cycle. Curious that Obama recently adopted the unsuccesful Mondale/Gore/Kerry tactic of tacking left instead of the successful Clinton strategy of heading for the center.
Obama's most recent policy proposals make him look like Nancy Pelosi in drag when he could be leading the country straight to the middle of the road on his own Simpson Bowles Commission plan. It is unfortunate that he wants to further complicate the tax code by singling out specific industries and groups for special adverse treatment, instead of opting for bipartisan, centrist tax reform.

He's probably planning on going left to get guys like gurbie back on his team and then in June or so he'll break for the center. The game gets tiresome. Wouldn't it be great if we had honest discussions around election time? Where candidates clearly outlined what they plan to do with no double speak?
If the Republicans nominate Romney, I think this is going to be a landslide year for them. Romney seems "safe" enough, and he has the business background going for him. The Teas may dislike him, but they're going to stay home and miss their chance to vote against the Kenyan Communist .
I'm more concerned about the dust buildup on my coffee table than I am about Obama's approval rating in the EU.
I know it's hard to believe but there ARE people in the EU who are politically conservative. It's just that in very liberal/socialist Europe those people don't get much media attention, either there or here.
Well, that and their idea of "conservative" would be liberal over here.
This election season will get more and more.....ummmm.....eventful as time goes on. With even many Democrats speaking out critically against him, an early "October Surprise" could be Obama deciding not to seek reelection. His obvious replacement? None other than........
ta da
Hillary!!
(And just when you thought the "Clinton Machine" had been mothballed.)
Which would be awesome since Hillary should have won in the first place.
He is the top man in a government that is too big but sure isn't millions. You need to wake up and see what is going on.
I love to see that "Who cares" crap since it seems to be the basis of much of the support of Obama and crew. When the end comes I wonder if you will still be saying "Who Cares".
1) Yes, there are millions of people in the Federal Government, it's the largest employer in the country.
2) I'm not an Obama supporter or crew, stop making stupid assumptions.
3) I assure you the end will come far quicker if a nutcase like Perry or Bachmann is elected.
