probably justice was done but it will be a cold day in the sahara when you see even a hate crime arrest for lynch mob "gooning' in chicago by AA mobs against wasps.
the sword definitely does not cut both ways.

The media is just as bad reporting on science issues.

Reporters.

This.

I generally oppose the death penalty. However, in cases where guilt is certain and the crime is heinous, I have no qualms with it. I used to believe that life in prison is a harsher sentence, but you'd be surprised at the resiliency of the human race. Many adapt, and seem to even flourish, to prison life.

I still think life sentence can be worse than... "we guarantee you no pain" death sentence. Where a prison can help in resiliency is the benefits we extend to them, whereas complain about such benefits to the general populace.

I just love all the anti death penalty posters on here, "I'm usually opposed to the death penalty, but in this case I am for it."

BWAHAHAHAAAAAAA!!!!!! Liberal hypocrisy at its best. If a black person is a victim of a white perp, fry him, but in all other heinous crimes, light a candle and hold a vigil outside the jailhouse where the perp resides.

You're just about the only anti death penalty poster on this thread who has any integrity. Kudos to you.

Perhaps people feel that after they die they go to hell.
The ultimate mystery of life is death. One day everyone goes.

Rotting in a jail means a taxpayer is footing the bill.

Death penalty means they're not on the taxpayer dime anymore.

Good riddance.

I know. Seriously.

This guy admitted to it, said he wasn't sorry for it, and that he'd do it all again.

These kind of f***ers need to be put down.

Um, did you ever consider that a lot of people don't look at these things through political glasses, and have a different opinion because the facts of the two cases are - how shall I put this - fundamentally different?

Eh?
