Look sonny, the fact is, unless the "immune system" has been exposed to a certain pathogen, it hasn't produced antigens to that specific pathogen. You may want to ignore the very long history of this basic fact, but it is a fact nonetheless. Adults may be able to produce antigens fast enough to fight pathogens that they are naive to, but infants can't, thus immunizations. Immunizations also protect adults who are immunocompromised. You simply can't ignore the long list of diseases that have been eradicated due to immunizations.

Yes a summary article about how your immune system works. Nice and dandy for teaching 6 year olds about eating fruits more than eating candy. It works, but food is NOT the only way to boost your immune system (and if you eat fruits you are subjected to E.Coli contamination, Samonella and all sorts of other diseases).

People died. What do you think happened? Those who contracted polio died. Without any anti-bodies to fight off a major disease that can cause pain, suffering and inflammation of the brain, those who contracted the disease died painfully.
People who contracted malaria, died.
People who contracted mumps, rubella, they all died.

You do know that by that time, for some diseases it's already too late?
Some diseases incubate for days without showing any symptoms. And when symptoms do show up, that means its already too late to provide treatment.

Ok, I am dealing with a person who doesn't have a rudimentary understanding of basic science. Continue to wallow in your ignorance, but if you have kids get them vaccinated. No one should be a victim of your ignorance.
By the way, before vaccines there were deaths from polio, whooping cough etc.
If we don't keep our eyes on this one, many people will suffer.
Here in CA you can sign a form and you don't have to get all the vaccinations.
The wealthier areas don't get their kids all injected up.
The poor Hispanics especially get injections like cattle before a slaughter.
