If it's one thing that libs and cons can agree on, it is our political system that is being bought out by money. Electing new people does nothing.

Democrats by design created the great society programs to gather the minority vote. They then went on to bloat government and the employees to work it so they could build an even bigger base.

Democrats like doing that IMO.

The Kennedy assassinations put politicians in their place and sent them a loud and clear message.
Go ahead and call me a conspiracy looney but that is what I think.

It's not the politicians that privatize. It's the voters not taking advantage of the right to vote. Look at the 08 elections. I won't argue if president Obama would have won or not but the fact is that republican voters failed to show up at the polls. In fact in Colorado republican turn out was the lowest that it had ever been by percent.

I don't think the Kennedys were beholden to any corporations.

Including the Federal Reserve.

You must read up on the family. It is quite interesting. Joseph P. Kennedy, Sr. had a career in finance, making a large fortune as a stock market, commodity investor, investing in real estate and a wide range of industries including many in Hollywood, and he made use of inside information which was legal at the time You don't get there with out having some personal debts.
So yes the Kennedy's family was beholding to many people. including some former Presidents.
