I can at least see why Palestinians are mad. I would be fighting back if someone was stealing my land. Just saying.
I beg to differ there. The Jews have been there for
over 2000 years. Even though this Arab, Israel war
has been going on for centuries, nobody "stole"
anything from the Palestinians.
The Palestinians wouldn't accept the 1948 U.N.
mandate to give the Jews the land. ( Israel)
In the 1967 war Israel took the west bank and
Gaza back.
I REALLY care about this issue a lot because it seems to limit us from focusing on the things I would rather vote for like:
-Ending our wars and occupations
-Creating jobs
-Reducing corruption in the financial and political arenas
-Addressing health care costs
-Finding a way to take care of our injured/homeless vets
-Finding a way to take care of those who truly cant help themselves
Once we address all of those and make progress on them, then we can worry about other things, but for now I want my president to focus on the things that seem to be adding to the decline of this country.
How about him stopping his orders to not drill for oil offshore or maybe even in the ANWR? We could provide jobs and supply some of the badly needed oil to cut down on our dependence on those Middle Eastern countries who want so badly to do away with the Israelis.

Even when the land that is being "stolen" has been used over and over as a launching pad for rockets fired into Israel? I don't think you are looking at both sides of this fight. Bias is very liable to make you think as you do.

There was no fight to form a Palestine State when the area belonged to Egypt or Jordan.
But since Jimmy Carter tried so hard to kill Israel and called them Palestinians it seems to me that they have been called that. Remember when the Palestinian Authority was created and formed up. I think that looks a lot like it is Palestine.
I had to vote for Israel because they are a part of our Judeo-Christian belief and the Palestinians are mostly shipped in from other Muslim countries and to vote for them would be a vote against our system and against the US all at one time.
I wish I was an atheist.
