Texas Abolishes Last Meal Requests For Death Row Inmates

Good idea! I think these scumbags should be put to death with an empty stomach...sooner, rather than years later.

Small minds seem to gravitate to meaningless gestures in the mistaken belief that they are such gestures actually mean anything other than the meaninglessness of their small minds.

Perhaps if Texans were interested in joining the rest of civilized society they might consider, if not abolishing the death penalty altogether, at least consider the abject corruption of how they go about applying it.

.....don't mess with Texas,....or the 33 other states and the Federal government/military which have the death. Or, did you not know that Texas is not the only state not "joining the rest of civilized society"?

How about a big 'ol liberal tear for that scumbag that dragged James Byrd Jr. behind a truck until he was dead.

Good idea. The murderer executed last night in Texas ordered an extraordinary amount a food and didn't eat a bite. It was a big F U to the taxpayers.

Those on death row should only get bread, water, and a vitamin.

In what perverted world is it considered civilized to house, feed, clothe, entertain, and allow to draw breath, a heinous sub-human piece of trash that commits the worst kind of violence against innocent people?

You pacifist limp-wrists up north can keep coddling criminals and use the DSM and dope-smoking Marxist sociology theorems to rationalize it, but here in Texas we put sub-human criminal filth down like diseased animals. It is the humane thing to do.

If only you would apply your smug, elitist, sock-sniffing rhetoric to defending innocent babies. I suppose it is civilized to plunge forks into the skulls of fetuses and drench them in caustic chemicals? You know we've reached the pinnacle of human evolution and advancement in civilization when we pluck our own offspring from the womb with forceps, but allow murdering scum to get three hots and a cot for the rest of their lives.

The article has a picture of a black dude and the man they put to death was white. His image is all over the internet, so it's not like they couldn't find a picture. So, why the black guy?

HRMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

Yeah, but the article doesn't mention the black guy. It talks about a dragging death, and has the black guy's picture there. That's a bit misleading.
