Default United States 'Marine Thinking' On The Subject Of The War On Terror

United States 'Marine Thinking' On The Subject Of The War On Terror ** Marine Thinking **

The picture at the above link tells it all. It's extremely reflective...

There is a great deal of talk that the surge is working. I pray it is.

It would be great to see our kids come home with the people of Iraq free.

Terrorism will always be there, thanks to Iran. But it would be great to see Iraq handling Iran themselves.

America's Congress is out to lunch. (Too much playing politics...)

GOD BLESS ALL OUR TROOPS

Thanks for the visit.

“America is not at war.

The Marine Corps is at war.

America is at the mall.”

This little quote says so much... !

Well, you could interpret that as a good thing - the American homeland really hasn't been affected by terrorism in recent times. If America as a whole was at war (rather than at the mall, or wherever else), that would probably mean that things had declined a lot.

Yeah, a good thing. If you're grazin in a patch of happy grass. The only real way for America to go to war is to go together, starting with a full declaration of war. Then you start adding politicians kids to the ranks, and not in the frikkin JAG corps either.

Or you can help the war effort by becoming one of Mitt Romney's sons!

I'm eternally grateful for our fighting men and women, no doubt.

Just a small correction though, you can't blame all of Iraq's current problems on Iran, the various sects and sides in that country turned on each other the second Saddam was out of power. Iran is doing their share of instigating for sure but the Iraq's themselves are the ONLY thing between what is currently happening and a truly free, Democractic Iraq.

Terrorism will always be there, thanks to Iran. (And Libya, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Philipines,...) But it would be great to see Iraq handling Iran themselves. (Like they did before we went over there.)

However yes, God bless Our Troops...
