As a conservative with an extreme dislike for Al Gore, I don't like the thought of him being anywhere near representative politics. BUT...as much as I dislike him, I am of the opinion that he could easily overthrow Barack Obama in a 2012 primary challenge.

What's your opinion? Could he take BO down? Would he be a candidate that Democrats and Liberals would rally around?

I do not believe Mr. Gore has any attention of challenging President Obama in the primaries. Mr. Gore is too busy collecting on the "Greenhouse Gas" trading scheme. I am very annoyed that the Democrats have been infected with the Greed disease the Republican plutocratic politicians brought to Washington. Between them we have the best government money can own or rent.

I think Mr. Obama will be the Democratic nominee and the next president because the Republicans have only managed to produce Tea Party correct political opportunists without the qualifications to be president of anything.

I agree he's a nut. But liberals are disenchanted right now. If Gore challenged Obama in a primary, I believe he would win handily. Liberals are searching for something. They simply aren't finding it in Barack Obama.

He may be able to bounce Obama, but he would get creamed in a general election. The guy is really loony.

Wouldn't that be wonderful? Then the WSJ could start really picking apart his business dealings on the green side. The Sierra Club would go crazy.

She could maybe take the primaries, but not the general election. IMO the Democrats are going to be banished into exile for the next 8 years.
