Could you give some names here? Because most liberals in know here oppose this.

You are clueless.

Letting presidents decide who they can kill even american citizens is potentially a disaster to liberty in the future. After all the VP Biden called tea party people terrorists maybe they will get kiled next.
If the President can kill an American citizen, on his own, without Judicial or even Congressional oversight........what can't he do?

I don't care if it was Obama OR Bush. This man forfeited his life, when I left the U.S. to start planning ways to kill innocent people on American soil.

While I don't like Obama, I don't have a problem with offing this traitor to America.

Bed wetters, and other paranoid types think allowing government elites to break the law for "good reasons" will keep them safe at night....LOL

You poor fools. You have a better chance of drowning in the bathtub than this idiot being able to harm Americans.

You're willing to trash the rule of law so you can tell yourself how tough you are. ...Unprincipled American citizens....like sheep....and why this country is in steep decline.

Pathetic.

(BTW, I'm not outraged; I'm tickled pink.)
Pedilla was arrested on May 8, 2002 by the FBI and held, without charge, as a material witness. On June 9, 2002 Mr. Padilla was declared an enemy combatant and transfered to Guantanamo Bay as per ex parte Quirin.

Padilla would not be charged with any crime until November of 2005

True, considering that SOB is dead.

There are lots of reasons this country is in decline.....usually I am in agreement with you Padcrasher, but I'm not on your side on this issue. Glad Awlaki is a dead man. The world is better off without him.

There is no settled law in the case.

So if the government does it....That makes it Constitutional?

Is that your standard?

His citizenship isn't germane to the issue, see ex parte Quirin.
