You know, the weather stations that supposedly determine temperature....the data that is then used in those wonderfully reliable and accurate climate models the cabal uses.

Now, we all know what they do with missing or incomplete data, don't we?

More confirmation that the whole "climate change" debacle is based on a hoax and a house of cards.

U.S. GAO - Climate Monitoring: NOAA Can Improve Management of the U.S. Historical Climatology Network

This man, Mr. Watts, have been studiously reporting and chronicling the defective surface station fiasco for years now...this just corroborates his findings.

GAO report on the poor quality of the US climate monitoring network | Watts Up With That?

Quote:
This number is of course much lower than what we have found in the surfacestations.org survey, but bear in mind that NOAA has been slowly and systematically following my lead and reports and closing the worst stations or removing them from USHCN duty.
Quite a few people have highlighted the atrocious siting of temperature stations - like right next to an airport tarmac or busy parking area blacktop.

I suppose it didn't matter when they thought the "consensus" was a done deal...now that people like Watts are pointing out the inherent flaws in the system, they are starting to take action.

I've seen some pictures of some of those stations surrounded by metal and asphalt.
Might as well just put that station in a 350 degree oven and record the temp.

But, but, but the AGWarmists have noooooooo problem with those stations.......just adds to the "hot" temperature readings.
