Good point. You can turn off the program if you want, but at school, kids are forced to listen through brainwashing leftist propaganda. They are afraid they will start losing their grip on the children. Remember, you own the children, you own the future. This is why the younger you are, the more liberal you tend to be because you are closer to the source of propaganda
LOL! Sending kids to public schools isn't mandatory. People can home school their children and teach them all the far right wing propaganda and Beck fairy tales they want. I didn't say he was on TV. I said to not watch his show if you don't like it. Just like you don't have to watch ANY show that you don't like.
As a man of education myself, I don't think I have a problem with learning - and that includes opposing viewpoints. I am really quite happy to embrace those.
My kids can learn what they want. They don't need to be brainwashed or lied to in the process. Personally, I don't believe in the Christian story of a god. That's just me. My child still goes to a Christian pre-school. You know why? Because Christianity is a rather large part of the culture in which she grows up - and hence, she needs to be familiar with it.
Somehow, I have come to believe that making a judgment call on the shows my kids are allowed to watch is part of good parenting and not some ploy to prevent them from learning. Thus, my daughter is not allowed to watch True Blood, Spongebob Squarepants, Debbie does Dallas, or whatever else I deem inappropriate for her young mind. I do understand, though, that she misses out on quite a lot of potential learning, especially if she were to watch Debbie does Dallas (it's a classic, after all).

Since Beck is only online and since you have to pay to subscribe I would think that you could keep your child away from the Liberty Treehouse with no trouble. Just don't subscribe and even when she sees it at somebody else's house and asks to see it at home you can keep her from seeing anything that Media Matters doesn't like by just not subscribing.
Hey, I don't expect you to take a chance but you could probably watch the show a time or two and see if it is what you have been told it is or not. You may be glad to have her watch it although the youngest kids on it will be 9 year olds.

But muslims would slit your throat (in their nation), most blacks and hispanics see homosexuality as really wrong (hence the larger number of suicides among black and hispanic gays than whites), until 1972 homosexuality was seen as a mental disorder among scientists.
