Smells like a claim to an authoritative voice in American revisionist history coming this way. Expect puke.

I can one up you on Bob Dole. I met him in 1967 in Topeka, Ks. where he was back campaigning. Of course, he was only a Representative back then but he still shook hands with his left hand as he always did after getting the right one so badly injured in Italy during WW II. I never did really like him but sure had to vote for him against Clinton.

Put me in that place also. Of course, you wouldn't be surprised at me saying that would you?

I've met a President (Clinton), two Vice Presidents (Quayle, Gore), 12 sitting Senators, including a Majority Leader (Baker), and countless Members of the House, including a Speaker (Tom Foley).

It's not that hard to share an elevator with a politician so, yes, I believe him.

I once shook hands with Frankie Valli while he was singing Let's Hang On. That was cool

but the bigger question is, outside of a great cocktail party anecdote, so what? is moore claiming that bobby revealed to him who killed his brother, what happened in roswell or the documents they were forging so a kenyan kid could be president? if that's the case then i prob would call bullocks.

i shared an elevator with david carradine when i was 11,..... it didn't make me a kung-fu master.
No big deal, you hit the nail on the head. Who really cares except maybe Moore thinks that somehow that influenced his crazy ideas, lets hope not. I once talked to John Forsythe when he was a the star of Dynesty. Hubby had lunch at Danny Kayes home and Danny actually cooked the lunch. I have met Reagan, Nancy and the 2 older kids more than once. We have had a couple of friends who are congressmen right now. I am sure all of you are impressed? NOT.
