which bill..the obama anti-jobs bill??

he still pushing that bigger government anti-jobs bill

it wont create any private sector jobs...just more government jobs with its 'new' department

the establishment of ANOTHER GOVERNMENT DEPARTMENT (bigger government)

SEC. 245. ESTABLISHMENT AND GENERAL AUTHORITY OF AIFA. (a) Establishment of AIFA- The American Infrastructure Financing Authority is established as a wholly owned Government corporation. (b) General Authority of AIFA- AIFA shall provide direct loans and loan guarantees to facilitate infrastructure projects that are both economically viable and of regional or national significance, and shall have such other authority, as provided in this Act.

page 40

in reading it it sounds like a fannie/freddie on steriods

and then there is

SECTION 284. ESTABLISHMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY BROADBAND CORPORATION.

and then this:

SEC. 261. PROJECT REBUILD (a) Direct Appropriations.— There is appropriated, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, $15,000,000,000, to remain available until September 30, 2014, for assistance to eligible entities including States and units of general local government (as such terms are defined in section 102 of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974 (42U.S.C. 5302)), and qualified nonprofit organizations, businesses or consortia of eligible entities for the redevelopment of abandoned and foreclosed-upon properties and for the stabilization of affected neighborhoods.

this to bail out Freddie/Fannie in the rehabbing of homes that are "unmarketable" instead of leaving these to be auctioned "as is" and rehabbed through the private sector?

its not a jobs bill...its an expand socialism bill

After viewing the coverage I belive that this is a group of young ,middle, old who want to be heard. The crowd gets larger in evening as students, workers and even wall streeters come out. It will be interesting to see if the Repub. can continue to bash them. The TP was co-opted by the big money and I believe there leadership is thinking that they need to get away from them. I would not assume that this is going away soon.

I see they are at the White House now. That must prove they are all racists.

Tough to argue with imaginary fantasies. I know logic and documentation are useless. Don't know what else to say.

In defense of the original question I have to say Obama did receive a Nobel Peace Prize and transparency awards so maybe a parellel universe does exist and what appears as fantasy is reality.....in some small provincial world.
Liberals become deranged when one tries to explain that the fantasy Utopia they seek to create is unobtainable. Every major social experiment of theirs has been a miserable failure and we are living the results now.

Y'all tell these kids to "quit protesting and get a job." and they will tell you when they crash your retirement assets, "I guess you should've invested in something more stable."

I know personally, I don't have much sympathy for people who lost their retirements in the 2008 crash. You are supposed to be invested in bonds as you approach retirement, not equities.

Conservatives were fiscally irresponsible, which is why the young people are calling for change.

There's still time for conservatives to repent and return to free market principles, but the Tea Party is setting the right on a path toward generational and class warfare. You call for "small government", but cover for the banksters and refuse to give up your debt-financed Medicare.

yup, and Steve Jobs was a democrat who supported Obama.
Yet Jobs had to take the manufacturing base of his company to China due to liberal policies and regulations. He could not repatriate earnings to build manufacturing here and allow investors to earn dividends due to same.

To be clear, Progressives from both sides of the aisle have had a 20+ year history of being fiscally irresponsible with the taxpayers money and our country's monetary policy. Do not confuse RINOs with fiscal Conservatives as they are not the same animal. The RINO is a sub-species of the Progressive Democrat globalists.

Intriguing how the C-D moderators merged all of the OWS threads into one - under a very banal title.

I wonder why they haven't done the same for all the Tea Party threads?

Anyone Notice that the “Occupy Wall Street” Protesters are Mostly White?
Where is the liberal media when mostly white liberals are protesting? They constantly pointed out the whiteness of the Tea Party protesters, yet fail to make the same conclusion with the Occupy Wall Street liberal hippies. Why the hypocrisy?

After all, Obama was the biggest recipient of Wall Street campaign contributions in political history. Obama also helped bail out the same Wall Street these lily white liberal hippies are ranting about. Yet the liberal media fails to mention their whiteness. Why?
