"Firewalls kept Stuxnet at bay until the Tohoku earthquake. The seismic activity felled an electricity tower behind Reactor 6. The power cut disrupted the control system, momentarily taking down the firewall. As the computer came online again, Stuxnet infiltrated to shut down the back-up generators. During the 20-minute interval between quake and tsunami, the pumps and valves at Fukushima No.1 were immobilized, exposing the turbine rooms to flood damage."
I'm sorry, did your conspiracy source just claim that the Stuxnet virus resulted in the detonation of weapons grade illegally stolen plutonium under the Fukushima reactor core?
Japan is already capable of creating nuclear weapons without having to resort to stolen plutonium.

The US has no secret ambitions to put down China. If anything, China is embracing the idea of capitalism, and big business loves China, and since big business drives foriegn policy in the US, the US loves China too (indirectly). Gotta love the irony of it.
Both China and the US just have too much to lose by waring with each other. World War III will happen in a rogue nation with extreme veiws with a small, short range nuclear capability... North Korea is a good example, but I don't think China would tolerate a nuclear war so close to home. If WW III happens, it will be started in another rogue country. The middle-east comes to mind. Isreal? Iraq? Iran? Pick your poison.

I especially enjoyed the following quote in the link:
"Some 16 metric tons of nuclear cores packed in caskets were hauled away in refrigerated containers to prevent fission."
Nuclear warheads cannot detonate from heat. They detonate when a critical mass is reached. There are a large number of safegaurds in place to keep a warhead from detonating even under the most severe of circumstances (i.e. they are designed to survive a near direct hit from another nuclear warhead).
I think this quote is what sealed the casket (pun intended) on this conspiracy theory for me. There is just no cridibility in the story. Too funny!
I heard the damage was caused when the above ground emergency generator fuel tank(s) were washed away by the flood. I guess some fool was well rewarded for the money he saved by not burying the tanks.
No don't let that stop you. I like the idea of frozen plutonium being placed under the reactors so the resulting radiation would trigger the fault movement that caused the tsunami. Did I get that right? Or did the tsunami create the plutonium?
