Does anybody think it's a coincidence that the bofa website and online banking has been down/slow ever since they announced the $5 debt card charge?

I'm sure there are a flood of people closing their account now, and I'm about to be one of them after today. The free market truly at work.

I closed my account with BOA the day I heard that they did business with illegal aliens.

I have accessed BOA online several times over the weekend with no problems. You just need to READ..!
When it opens, you get a message thay are operating slow. It then asks if you want to try later or proceed to your accounr. I click go to my account and it opens right up.. Read the instructions, people...!
I am not going to leave BOA. They are by far the best bank, and all other banks will also start charging monthly fees, some as high as $15 a month, so leaving them just causes oroblems for you.
I love em, not going anywhere, and will not recieve any monthly fees because I have money in the bank..!! If you only have accounts that don't make them money, you will be charged.

I've started researching credit unions in my area and will be leaving B of A after 20 years. I was lazy and really like their online billpay system. But I'm realizing that to do so is selfish and hypocritical. Bye bye B of A.
