Obama sat in Rev. Wrights church for 20 years. Rev. Wright is a black liberation Christian. The believe that whites are the devil . This is no shock to me.
Neither Black Liberation Theology nor Trinity UCC, Rev. Wright's former church, believe that whites are the devil. In fact, Trinity UCC is voluntarily a member of the United Church of Christ which is 95%+ white.
One can only imagine how Breitbart would have reported on Dr. King's 'I have a dream speech'. Probably something like: well known race baiting "minister" and former convict King appeared this weekend with trade unionists and communists in an attempt to force passage of socialist legislation in order to destroy America. Are you saying that all churches with names similar to that of Fred Phelps clean up his image because they aren't like him? Wow, that makes lots of sense.
Phelps' church is an independent Baptist church, his family being the majority of the several dozen members. Rev. Wright's church had 250 members when he became its pastor and was the largest within the United Church of Christ when he left.
I don't see a question to answer. And I'll "denounce" Obama when some of you guys start "denouncing" some of the crap the Repubs say. Then the excuse is always "But, but, but. . . . that was different".
