So Obama's probably corrupt with this whole Solyndra thing. Listening to Bush republicans you would've thought that Tauzin, going to head up the pharmaceutical lobby after guiding part d through, would be a figment of our imaginations!

But wasn't Obama supposed to be a "Change You Could Believe In?" That was the whole focus of his campaign, wasn't it?

I sure in H*** have not forgotten this. Whiich is exactly why I wanted Sarah Palin to run--she's the only one I've heard talking about the corporatism issue. And I am skeptical of Perry, who was into the green jobs thing as Texas Gov, or Romney, Or Romney, who was also into 'green jobs' as Mass. gov.

That leaves Cain, a limited gov't ideologue, at least relatively speaking, as the only person who might be willing and able to take on the issue.

One thing we know for sure. With Obama, a second term is going to be non-stop corporate crony capitalism. Given the typical ROI expected by corporate donors, the $1 billion Obama campaign fund will cost taxpayers in the trillions.

you forgot gary johnson who was the most frugal, limited government, governor in our recent history. then there's ron paul, who never voted for any of the spending, none of the trash that other republicans criticized out of one side of their mouth and then voted for anyway.

palin???? are you $%^&ing serious??? you seem to forget that she just gave up the governorship halfway through. is that what you want in a president? someone who just quits? not only that, she will never beat the president. as much as i disagree with the president on just about everything, he's a bright guy and a better public speaker. he'd crucify her in the debates. as for romney and perry, you cannot be serious. they're essentially democrats, both of them.

cain, not so bad. foreign policy is debatable, ie he doesn't have one. a bit disengenuous if you ask me, he will never get any of his 999 policy through both houses. he knows that, and it will be business as usual!

I think it is ironic that Democrats hate the Prescription Drug Plan and not end it... sounds a lot like rhetoric... of course, if they tried to end it, they will find out Americans will be upset by it... ironic that they want healthcare for everyone but not prescription drugs... sounds more like sound bite than anything... I am not saying what happened was clean... but at least be consistent...

Are we not tired of these crony deals from both sides? Why should this administration get a pass because Bush was just as bad? Remember that this was the president that would end these kinds of scams. Right?

If Bush or Tauzin were running for POTUS this thread might be relevant.
