Any senator who is "thinking of voting" against the jobs bill next week "needs to explain" why he or she would oppose something that would help U.S. families and businesses, he said at a White House news conference.
Really?
In the United States of America?
Senators who disagree with the president must defend their choice?
Wow. Let me go raise my hammer and sickle flag & go stand in a bread line.
Now he clarified that statement later and say republican senators will have to explain why. It's not that hard to explain that it's a waste of a half trillion dollars on top the the trillion already wasted in the stimulous.

Why shouldn't they provide reasons for voting against?
These people are supposed to be working for us. They absolutely should explain why or how they think the bill needs to be revised or thrown away. Because I said so is not a valid response.
Odd that someone would equate asking for reasons as the sign of a dictatorship.
Don't dictators just do whatever, no questions asked?

They asked him to come in and work on the bill. He's choosing to campaign.
