If Republicans Defeat Obama's Job plan (which they are likely to do), what plan will they recommend instead?

NONE. The Government can only create government jobs and the government is broke.

I agree, the Repub plan to stop job creation is a very good position to take. Should garner a lot of public support, for one side of the issue.

Give more handouts and tax breaks to the rich, that's all they have ever proposed.

Probably won't be too difficult as a lot of Democrats are lukewarm at best.

Well, no, the last national election the Republicans ran under the banner of creating jobs.

I just would like to know how this is going to be accomplished. Fair question, don't you think? Especially in light of the fact that they are going to attempt to defeat Obama's plan.

Well I figure it will end up the same way stimulus I did with the Dems.
Government workers got to keep their jobs a little bit longer. When the money ran out so did the jobs.

That is a waste in itself.

It's not going to bring the jobs that got offshored back if that's what you think.
There's no way one could find a PhD for $25K USD per year like they can in India.

There's a simple answer for that. "But, buu, err, ahh .... when did we ever says it's 'job, jobs, jobs' , huh?".

You are fools if you sit there waiting for either party to "create jobs" because neither side can.

I have a job... Well actually, a business... But I constantly hear the retort "What about the jobs?"

Obama has put forth a plan that will according to all analysis create jobs-- and as a bonus, rebuild the country's failing infrastructure.

I am asking a very simply plan, when the Republicans defeat the plan for jobs offered by Obama, what is their alternative? This is not about whether you think the government can create jobs or not. This is about responsiveness to the demands of the constituency.

What's the Republican plan?
