All the communist sympathizers , Hanoi Jane, John Kerry gave wind in the sails of the enemy and extended the war . They did much harm to our soldiers and the moral of our boys who served honorably.

The Vietnam Vets came home to no welcome at all because of John Kerry.

Herman Cain at least was not a John Kerry who enlisted and was the example of Odonnel as if Kerry was a good soldier... what a dumb thing to say and a very bad example in the interview .!!

It is called deflection, meaning; trying to change the subject since the expected results of the thread are no going as planned

I never heard of Kerry until he ran for President. We came home to no welcome because the war was wrong and nothing to be proud of.

O'Donnell was the one who brought up the John Kerry comparison.

Kerry was a traitor to this country who was DISHONORABLY DISCHARGED from the Navy. He had to petition Jimmy Carter to change his discharge status so that it would not affect his political career later. That is why Kerry refuses to release his records.

Bulldinky. Kerry was honorably discharged in 1978 from the Reserves. His records are available to anyone, like those of any veteran.

Kerry was dishonorably discharged from the Navy because he protested the war after returning from Vietnam while still on ACTIVE DUTY. His discharge status was not "updated" until Jimmy Carter was president and he lobbied for the favor.

I wouldn't call it "throwing a tantrum", but O'Donnell was being a total arse. Saying he was "offended on behalf of the Vietnam vets" because Cain was "avoiding the war". O'Donnell was old enough to serve in Vietnam, did he go?

I can't speak for other conservatives, but it's the double-standard that I don't like. I'd like to see ANY interview with Obama that comes close to this.
