The House, who advertised jobs, jobs, jobs hasn't taken up a single bill that would improve employment.

Perhaps what did it was H.Con.Res. 3 (ih) Expressing the sense of Congress that the President should issue, and Congress should hold hearings on, a report and a certification regarding the responsibilities, authorities, and powers of his ``czars''?

or;
H.Con.Res. 4 (ih) Expressing the sense of Congress that the Supreme Court misinterpreted the First Amendment to the Constitution in the case of Buckley v. Valeo.

or;
H.Con.Res. 13 (rh) Reaffirming "In God We Trust'' as the official motto of the United States and supporting and encouraging the public display of the national motto in all public buildings, public schools, and other government institutions.

or;
H.Con.Res. 18 (ih) Urging the President to authorize the return to the people of the Philippines of two church bells that were taken by the United States Army in 1901 from the town of Balangiga on the island of Samar, Philippines, and are currently displayed at F.E. Warren Air Force Base, Wyoming.

or;
H.Con.Res. 25 (ih) Expressing the sense of Congress with respect to the Obama administration's discontinuing to defend the Defense of Marriage Act.
I think they deserve a good bit of the "credit" for the 103,000 jobs. After all, had it not been for them we would have to endure several months of 300,000 to 400,000 increases in working people. Gasp!

The tea baggers weren't riled up back during the Bush days. The same government programs were in place and being added to by the GOP, but since the tea baggers are just basically Republicans, they weren't complaining.

The poor economy is a result of the Great Recession and resulting economic collapse. It was handed to Obama and he's done largely the same as Bush did, as McCain was going to do and as anyone who took the office could do.

It's just that many people are uneducated, don't really know much and are guided by emotion and dogma. They want to blame Obama for their problems as if they didn't, they'd have to face that it Republicans who had the vast majority of the political power in this country leading up to the economic collapse.

Instead of actually thinking though, they'll just blame Obama because they act like emotional children.

Cite?

We would have to endure 2,000,000 jobs per month if we just let the big banks fail and passed no stimulus. Prove me wrong.

Would voters really be that stupid to buy such an obvious move? Another 4 years of this empty suit would be his last term and I believe he would go wild with his Socialist/Communist, spread-the-wealth (take from those that earn $'s and give it away to those who don't earn anything...just take) agenda and really destroy this country.

I hope I'm right in believing that the majority of the voters in this country are a lot smarter than he thinks we are.

Obama will be drawing down troops and waving the peace symbol prior to November 2012, guaranteed. He's going to be very disappointed to watch his overeducated liberal base laugh at Obama for insulting their intelligence.

This forum is really too funny.

We have one thread using the statistic that *only* 103,000 jobs were added to prove that Obama's policies aren't having much of an effect.

And we have another thread trying to give the teabaggers credit for ALL THOSE NEW JOBS WOW 103,000!

Hysterical.

Actually, florida.bob has previously attributed job losses on the backs of "teabaggers", so it seems relevant to me, especially since he's been kind enough to join us in this thread.

Didn't Peter Schiff predict a chain of stimulus package proposals, each stating that the previous wasn't big enough, back in 2008?
