Here is my idea for a new political commerical.

  • A working family man sitting in his chair watching the news
  • He starts getting upset with the news and turns to his wife and starts chanting "impeach Obama"
  • He walks outside still chanting "impeach Obama"
  • His neighbor hears him, comes outside and chants "Impeach Obama"
  • Then more neighbors hear it, come outside and chant "IMPEACH OBAMA"
  • Then the camera starts rising above the neighborhood with hundreds of people chanting "IMPEACH OBAMA"
  • Then the camera is above the city and you hear thousands of people chant "IMPEACH OBAMA"
  • The camera is now showing the state and millions are chanting "IMPEACH OBAMA"
  • Then above the country and your hear a loud "IMPEACH OBAMA"
  • Then the astronauts on the Space Station hear "IMPEACH OBAMA" from around the world

Not that I wouldn't agree with your idea, but you do know that even if the House should vote to impeach him then the Senate has to throw him out of office and there just aren't enough Senate votes from either group of biased people to get that done.

What if an overwhelming number of citizens and allies called for his impeachment ... or even demanded it ... what if this really happened on a specific date and time ...

Our Constitution would still take precedence, hopefully. Unless it's really not that important to the mob of chanters.

Not that it would happen but would send a strong message no doubt.

The senators would be pressured by their constituents. Hell, I think a good number of democrats would join in because I think they feel betrayed.

At the end of the commercial there could be a date and time ... a call for the chant to happen.

If you believe that, you are seriously deluded if you think what ever feelings of betrayal that there might be would lend itself to the foolishness of another futile Republican show trial.

PS - if you want to coalesce disaffected Democrats around Obama, try impeaching him. Please!

It wouldn't happen. The only people likely to participate would be the radical right fringe that would make themselves look like anti-american idiots. It would be like Clinton all over again that wasn't doing well in the polls, then skyrocketed when the right wingers tried to get him thrown out of office.
