You just don't seem to get it. Not surprising. I really don't care if every conservative out there looks at porn. I don't care who looks at more porn the liberals or the conservatives. It does not matter to me if the methodology of the poll produced by ABC is accurate or not. I have never defended the methodology in any of my posts. You guys focusing on that have missed the forrest because of the trees.

The purpose of the post was to show the hypocricy of things like the values summit and to stimulate discussion. In that respect, it was a success.

But while we are talking about math, methodology and conservative porn. Here is a combination of all. The formula below is what makes the perfect butt.

In this formula, S stands for overall shape, C for circularity, B for bounciness, F for firmness and T for texture. When a woman has given herself unswervingly honest marks between 1 and 20 for all of these, and measured the ratio of her hips to her waist (V), they can all be entered into the equation and used to calculate just how ready the world is likely to be for her jelly.

The conservative porn apologists are keeping this thread alive? I think this study is a pretty good gauge of conservative porn viewing habits. The case that you conservative pornographers are trying to make is that it's the liberals in the conservative zip codes who are watching the porn. Seriously? Why would liberals in conservative zip codes watch more porn than liberals in liberal zip codes? That doesn't make sense. This study is not perfect, but it's a pretty good way to capture con porn habits. More porn is viewed in areas with higher concentrations of conservatives. Of course liberals in these areas are probably watching porn too, but the higher concentration of conservatives is correlated to a higher concenetration of porn viewing. That's not 100 percent proof, but it's a good indicator of what's going on.

I think it is so telling that they become very defensive. No, no we don't look at porn.

How much do you want to bet if the United States successfully kicks Texas out of the union, porngraphy will become a huge part of the republic's GDP?

Perhaps, and for what it's worth, I'm not a conservative porn apologist; my views on things like this are more libertarian - I just don't care what people do.

I'm just looking at it from the perspective of what the study can show. It may be absolutely correct in the assumptions - it may not. For example, in areas of Utah or other areas that they point out, are stores that sell porn prevalent - as prevalent as in "liberal areas"? If not, then online access may be the only means so the numbers may be skewed. For example, I live in an area where alcohol sales used to be illegal on Sunday, so everyone purchased it on Saturday (thankfully no longer the case). You could look at sales on Saturday in comparison with other places and draw a conclusion that may or may not be correct because the data is skewed by limited access on Sunday.

Either way, it appears that online access is working for people that seek it which is okay with me.

If you'd read the article you would note that the fundamental methodology used is CREDIT CARD purchases from a single client that operates a cluster of unrevealed pay sites.

Right there you have a huge sample bias ala "Dewey Defeats Truman".
(To refresh memories, that was where they took a phone poll....richer people tended to have phones at the time and were more likely Dewey voters.)

This still doesn't explain the buttockal-crease effect (winking), now popularized by Winkers.

One should never dismiss the dynamic of the moving parts.
