But Paul's solution is LESS government, while the protesters' seem to be calling for MORE government control.

Where are you getting that? The protestors are standing against the cronyism/fascism on wall street that are the puppet masters to the federal government and causing mass corruption, stances that Paul not only has as well, but he takes it even further with wanting to go after the fed. Paul is even more liberal with his stances on these issues than even many of the protestors.

Good to hear!

Exactly. Has anyone seen their "request" sheet? It's ridiculous.

They want $20 an hour minimum wage, they want free health care, they want free living wages for all regardless of employment, (oh that one is my favorite, the idiots), the list goes on and on.

They are asking for monumental tax increases and higher prices because that is the only way any of that will be paid for.

Paul believes in a free market. Without the bloated big government and all its regulations, bail outs, subsidies and corrupt trysts with Corporations, our economy would be in much better shape. Paul, correctly, advocates less government intervention as the solution to our problems. Real competition without favoritism and strangling regulations is the key.

Please read these links on Paul.

"Congressman Ron Paul is the leading advocate for freedom in our nation’s capital. As a member of the U.S. House of Representatives, Dr. Paul tirelessly works for limited, constitutional government, low taxes, free markets, and a return to sound monetary policies. He is known among his congressional colleagues and his constituents for his consistent voting record. Dr. Paul never votes for legislation unless the proposed measure is expressly authorized by the Constitution. In the words of former Treasury Secretary William Simon, Dr. Paul is the “one exception to the Gang of 535″ on Capitol Hill."

Paul is an interesting guy. He appeals to a wide array of people as he speaks to problems both liberals and conservatives voice; but his solutions are purely conservative in that they are grounded in nothing but the constitution, which calls for very minimal government and maximum individual freedom.

The government is a problem. But actually, Wall Street is a big problem, too.

But Wall Street couldn't cause such a problem if it weren't for the help of Big Government.

I'm quite aware of Paul's stances and have been following him for years, but his solutions are not purely conservative in the slightest. He is strongly against bailing out the banks and handouts to the rich and big oil. Strongly against religion and government intertwining, against the anti-constituion patriot act and arguably the biggest anti-war politician in congress. On these views, it would put him quite far to the left and one of the main reasons Fox and other right wing propaganda networks cant stand, bash, and discredit him, as he doesn't follow the "business as usual" corrupt big government, big spending GOP. Paul is a through and through libertarian and not a conservative, though some of his views swing right, and others left, as do most all libertarian stances.

What really slays me is that Wall Street money got the left's hero into the White House.

These LSD's (Liberal, Socialist, Democrats) seem to forget this salient fact.

Conservative, in that he adheres to the Constitution.
