I am also not sure what the point here is. They are trying to turn the lower crime rates into an argument against Obama, but they do not seem to be sure how to go about it. I am sure we will see more organized line of thinking after the next Glenn Beck show (if Beck talks about this).

So, basically you are saying if you were a news source, you would do all you can to support Obama. You are not making much sense to me.
Drop in crime rates has been mentioned in the media, but you seem to be saying it has not been mentioned ENOUGH, so I am asking you how often it should be repeated.
PS The Florida law you mention became law in 2011 AFTER the major drop in crime rates in 2010. I like that law BTW

As usual, I'm convinced you think you are making a point, but I'm unsure what you think the point is. Just use google, roy. You'll find the studies I'm talking about that link abortion with lower crime rates. (I'm not saying lower crime rates are a reason to support abortion, by the way; I"m just pointing out some facts.)
I googled crime rates, abortion and found that 3 of the first 5 articles they showed were questioning the facts as Levitt saw them. This link is to an article that John Stossel wrote about the subject. Remember that since it was written in 2006 it was carried by ABC not Fox. He wasn't working for Fox back then.

I put in a link about crime rates and abortion just ahead of this post and you may find that abortion and crime rates were hooked up by a man named Levitt and a partner and it has all come from them. I think that the study would be their conclusion that all those unwanted children would have been criminals so abortion stopped them from being around.

That C-D thread has been exposed for what it actually is, fear mongering. Nothing has changed concerning guns and marajuana users. Marajuana users have always been banned from purchasing guns from dealers. It's on Form 4473 and has been on form 4473 since it's inception. Purchasing a gun if you are a user of MJ is illegal by federal law, it's always been that way, Roy. Nothing has changed.
