America is crumbling from within (education system, unemployment, bankruptcy, eroding highways/roads/bridges, etc.) while political and military leaders continue to pump U.S. money and manpower into Iraq. Troops were scheduled to be withdrawn from Iraq NLT 31 Dec 2011 but political and military leaders have decided we need to keep 5,000-10,000 Soldiers in Iraq after 31 Dec 11 so that we can continue to fund Iraqi training and fund improving their infrastructure (education and highways/roads/bridges, etc.). Troops as recently as last week were receiving deployment orders for next month. What's wrong with this picture shouldn't we fix what's broken at home (U.S.) first. Wake up Leaders, please before it's too late!!!

The Wars in Iraq and Afghanistan are to blame. We continue to pump manpower and $$$$$$$$$ into each country to improve their education systems, infrastructure (roads, highways, bridges, etc.) while neglecting the same back home in the United States.

If Iraq and Afghanistan are too move forward then they must step up themselves and fight for their freedom as our forefathers did in the 18th century. However, they're not stupid and they will continue to take our manpower and $$$$$$ as long as U.S. political and military leaders are willing to give them a free ride.

Wake up leaders and focus on fixing our problems at Home!!!!

Conquering and nation building bankrupted the Roman Empire.

Why would we be any different.

Default look elsewhere

Look at where the money is going. Not so much to wars as to wreckless spending by career politicians.

If Obama's latest half billion $$ boondogle doesn't get your attention as representative of where the tax money collected from the top earners go, then you might be barking up the wrong tree. Of course if you are among the 50% or so that pay no taxes then wasting half a billion $$ on Solyndra is of no concern except in a selfish desire to have that money spent on giving you free stuff.

You might ask these economic gurus where most of the tax money goes

Nation building and forced democracy are right out of the Progressive handbook, ask Woodrow Wilson, who said we would never be involved in WW-1
