WASHINGTON — In a grim sign of the enduring nature of the economic slump, household income declined more in the two years after the recession ended than it did during the recession itself, new research has found.

Between June 2009, when the recession officially ended, and June 2011, inflation-adjusted median household income fell 6.7 percent, to $49,909, according to a study by two former Census Bureau officials. During the recession — from December 2007 to June 2009 — household income fell 3.2 percent.
Wow! Another record falls under obamanomics.

And this man claims the economy is getting better under his gentle ministrations?

I guess that could be claimed, if you IGNORE every single economic indicator out there.

Please note, in the graph below, when the household income began its free-fall. What we are seeing now is the fallout of Bush's recession. These things take time. However, you bring up a good point why the millionaires should be taxed fairly as the bottom 95% of income earners have paid a higher price in the past 5-10 years.

BUSHBUSHBUSHBUSH!!

No way to spin this one.

You see, obama claimed his stimulus would help working families.

For the last year, he's gone flitting around the Us claiming his stimulus SAVED us from an even deeper recession....clearly, that is NOT the case.

Under HIS economic policies, life in the US is much more difficult.

Not surprising. We've been living beyond our means for decades now.

And now he wants a baby stimulus disguised as a job bill to fix the first one that failed.

Oh yea, Nancy and Harry took over in 2007, then the free fall began.

They did not have unemployment for two years back then, so maybe it actually even worse today, if they are counting unemployment compensation as income now.
