If you're used to the sun, you will miss it and probably get a tad depressed.
Summers are glorious though.
Yeah, when I was in England with my SO in January, the sun barely peeked above the roofs of the houses. I thought that was amazing, since I've never been so far up the earth before. I've only experience living between 40N and 18N

The bottom line is these countries have the highest standard of living in the World, the most educated, the least corrupt, the happiest, the most press freedoms.

And I don't give a damn if the taxes are high or what it cost to live on....as long as you can live like that.
Happiness is a tough one to measure, but I certainly believe they have great freedom of the press and very little corruption compared to most of the world.
I think they emulate better than us Jefferson's notion of what's needed: an educated populace for a good government.

Not all socialist countries can pull this off; Venezuela, for example.

When you grow up in a nanny government state you are oblivious to any other life...
Gosh, look at how high our corporate tax rate is

Limited federal government is not lawlessness. That Somalia thing that the left keeps spewing is quit pathetic.

The marginal rate is ...the effective rate is one of the lowest.

You know the difference right?

One doesn't matter....one does.

You of course are harping on the one that doesn't matter.
