Write that check if that money is burning a hole in your pocket Warren. Or are you just lying. Oh an make sure to pay those back taxes you OWE too.

“As it turns out, you don’t need to wait for President Obama to sign legislation raising taxes on you,” Norquist wrote. “You can open up your checkbook right now, write a check payable to the United States Treasury, and drop it in the nearest mailbox (or just hand it to your ‘secretary’). Problem solved.”
If passed, starting with the 2011 , the “Buffett Rule Act” would require the Internal Revenue Service to include a line option on tax forms to donate money to Treasury to pay down the deficit

What I don't understand is....if Buffett wants to get taxed more, then why take all the deductions and exemptions?

Buffett is a hypocrite. He takes his pay as capital gains, not income...therefore he 'only' pays capital gains tax at 15%, not income tax that would be a much higher percentage. However, IF Buffett wanted to do so, he could change how he gets paid...and take his pay as income, and pay much more tax. How Buffett gets paid is his choice, which employees (like his admin/secretary) don't have a choice in how they get paid. Buffett is a hypocrite plain and simple.

I don't blame Buffett one bit in choosing how he gets paid - in capital gains. But, why he elects to say that he (and others like him) should be taxed more is beyond me.

Betcha hypocrite Buffett won't pay one dime more in taxes than what the tax codes require...
