Obama is now in a third war with Libya and I don't see the outcry from the democrats yet they vilified Bush to no end. As far as the democrats go, they are not truthful at all about their opinions of Obama.
If Obama goes to war,, democrats are silent, If Bush goes to war , it is a strong outcry which shows the hypocritical stand to their allegiance to the democratic party like a zombie.
I was one of the many foolish Obama drones. I admit, I voted for him and knew nothing about it. I just looked at his competitor (McCain) and went for the younger more smiling guy. STUPID ME!!!...I felt used and forgotten like a co-ed cheerleader. I know better now and come election time 2012, I wll NOT be voting for this Socialist clown Barack Insane Obama.
So basically we are in an economic depression because y'all just hate Palin (who would have been only VICE-PRESIDENT, btw) so much...
I hope it was worth it to put your hatred before your country.
Traitors.
No, we're in economic doldrums because people liked George W. Bush so much they elected him twice.
Did you forget how many employees were losing their jobs every month, and how much your investments and home value had dropped, before Obama was sworn in?
I voted Hillary in the primary, and felt Obama was too unseasoned and probably too conciliatory, and a mediator-type. I even considered voting for McCain until I watched Sarah Palin's speech at the GOP convention, and thought, "here we go, right back to the typical Republican meanness and idiotic phrases." So I voted for politics that more closely match my values than those of the Republican party. And I'll do it again. I didn't vote for hope and change, I voted for Democratic policies.
And in any event, I was proven right - Obama has been a mediator-type president, and hasn't shown much knack at arm-twisting or hardball politics. So how could I apologize for being wrong?
Funny how posters who admit they feel negatively about Obama now are lauded as "honest" and "open-minded", yet those who honestly and for good reason will vote again for Obama are not.

Heh, I think you're not only honest but you've definitely got a pair, lol. It's much easier to say you're NOT voting for him again, than it is to say you will.
I'd like to say I'm not, and I do, but there are three rep candidates that will cause me to vote for Obama. Perry, Cain, and if by some miracle, Palin.THEN I'll vote for Obama. However if Romney wins the nom, he has my vote. If for no other reason than to put the brakes on the spending for a while.
We Bush supporters from 2000 have long admitted that we were wrong about Bush.
Why can't former Obama supporters do the same thing?
I admitted I was wrong before. But, instead of getting trapped into the right side of the -left-right shell game, I broke out of it entirely and now a true political independent. I'm a registered Republican, but only because Ron Paul is running. After primaries are over in PA, I'm going independent

I am an independent, but registered Republican as well, but only because PA has that stupid rule about having to be registered under the party in order to vote for the primary.
BS. I voted for Obama in 2008 and was among his biggest supporters on this board.
It's now obvious to me he lied during his campaign..as he has continued many of Bush's policies. There's been no "hope and change" ..more like "bait and switch"..
Obama is a warmonger and a drug warrior. Next year, I won't be making the same mistake I made in 2008..
I do not disagree as I now say the same thing (relatively) about having voted and believed in Bush (and his lies). So now where does that leave us? We cannot trust the Dems or GOP, as I have come to believe that we cannot really trust any politicians at the Federal level. Not because they are evil people, but because they are not in control! The only way to bring about effective change is to get involved ourselves in a non-violent productive and well informed way.
You can start at the local level and work your way up. We can call, text, email our controlled politicians at the Federal level, though how much positive change will come of that is questionable. We must change the way our government works! Our government was created by our founding fathers to serve us not to control us! Unless we the people can come together to have our collective voices heard the rich will continue to get richer (1%) and the rest of us will have no voice and no chance to effect change!
