I don't care how hot they are. Can they just be nice again? Or at least save up their rudeness to customers who are rude to them instead of spewing it out on the rest of us?
I went to a Hooters and was not that impressed. None of the waitresses had large breasts ( not even close ). Two would be defined as *cute* but not gorgeous or hot by any means. One looked "rough" with the too heavy makeup and just not very attractive.
Did I miss something? This is Hooters. Isn't that a nickname for breasts?
I sleep on all flights. The flight attendents could be mythical ogres and trolls and it would be okay with me.
I hope that people judge me by my professional conduct, not my appearance, in my profession. I think that it is a good thing that they have "average" looking people as flight attendents.

I flew US Airways last week in between Louisville and DC both ways. The attendant from Louisville to DC was nothing special pretty average slightly thick (which I personally perfer.) The one going from DC to Louisville, though older, was very pretty. Both provided solid service. If I want hot employees I live right next to a Hooters.
I am old enough to have flown on Braniff airlines - whose flight attendants wore hot pants. They were slim enough to do so.
Yes - flight attendants were uniformly more attractive 20 years ago. The reason they aren't so today is simple - US airlines can't discriminate in hiring today like they used to. Since they can't justify as a job qualification "attractiveness" like entertainment industries can, airlines have more objective criteria for hiring. You have to be tall enough to do your job. Narrow enough to walk the aisle. Strong enough to open emergency doors. Language skills, etc.
Just like it should be even if I always would rather be served by attractive women.
