You haven't been paying attention if you think the mess we are in the sole result of 8 years of GWB. The acts of our fearless leaders over the past several decades have resulted us being where we are now.

If you mean the plan to replace the incompetent current president, I am glad that you think so.

I've been saying this for a while on this site and they just keep glancing over it choosing to ignore it.

After the Bush tax cuts, 52 months straight of job creation and growth. You can argue that it wasn't as good as previous Presidents if you would like but it is better than the current Moron-In-Chief.

2005 - 2007 tax revenues grew faster than the economy while at the same time a family of four saved over $2k due to the Bush tax cuts. So he provided relief for people and increased revenues for the government. Can obama claim the same?

Bush wanted oversight on Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac, but was blocked by the Demoncrats.

Seriously, blame Bush all you want unfairly but what has Obama done to make it better? What has the Democratic congress done to make it better? Nothing, they have made it far worse and everyone knows it, you just deny it.

No.

Your problems are systemic. You lost jobs because you cannot compete globally. The jobs you lost you lost permanently (in the grand scheme of things) and those jobs are never coming back, at least not in your life-time. Some of you are still having a terrible time grasping the concept of "never."

There is nothing anyone can do to bring those jobs back. You'll just have to wait 50-60 years for wages in other countries to rise to a level to meet your declining wages and reach an equilibrium.

Anything you do to interfere in this process, like end FTAs, put up trade barriers, raise tariffs, punish corporations for "off-shoring" will just create more problems resulting in more job losses. Your corporations might even leave. The growing Middle Class in China is bigger than the entire US. So is the growing Middle Class in India.

If I sell a car for $24,000 and make $3,000 profit or sell a car for $4,000 and make $3,000 profit, the bottom line is that $3,000 in profit is $3,000 in profit. When you all learn that, you'll understand the situation a lot better.

Right now your situation is that you have a car that won't go because there's no gas in it. Obama has ordered up a Maaco paint-job. Of course, the car didn't go anywhere. Now he's ordered up an Earl Schrieb paint job. They car still won't go anywhere.

If you want to drive that car again, you will need to figure out a way to get from the car to a gasoline station, get some gas, get back to the car, put gas in it and go.

When someone in your government figures that out, you'll be at least a little better off, not much.

Of course Newsmax is wrong! To the true believers, on the DailyKos and Huffpo are correct on anything! The other side should be silenced by law!

You know, their view and only their view. Anything else is just not to be considered.
