Or maybe he heard it on Rush and then googled it, seems more likely.

By that logic the Bat was batty enough to think he was Don Quixote.

what are you even talking about? You're talking about his link being from the Boston Herald and all I'm saying is you can easily google some stupid story Rush Limbaugh happened to talk about and easily find a million sources related to said story. Not very tough logic.

It is unknown how many bats have died due to wind turbines, but the scientists estimate by 2020, wind turbines will have killed 33,000 to 111,000 annually in the Mid-Atlantic Highlands alone. Why migratory tree-dwelling species are drawn to the turbines remains a mystery.
Economic importance of bats in the 'billions a year' range

When you have a species on the endangered list it can cause huge headaches for any project even before anything has happened. I'd venture to guess since we have one dead bat they will now shutter the turbines for a very lengthy time while they od an environmental impact study. If it were found for example there was a colony of these bats living near these turbines they could possibly never spin again.

There is enormous costs for many projects like bridges, roads etc before they even begin building. It's one of the reasons they take so long to build.

My post is as germane to this thread as yours. The only difference is that my juvenile remarks at least contain the subject matter (bats) while yours is nothing more than another attempt to discredit a poster by poisoning the water. That is a tactic typical of the left.

Do you have a valid counter argument or would you like to just skip ahead and call me racist or some other name you pull out of your butt?

If the bats cannot adapt to the changed environment then they will go extinct. That is a fundamental law of the universe. It matters not if the change is a man made wind turbine or a nature made asteroid impact. Too bad, adapt or die.
