It's going to get much worse. Obama is now bringing in truck drivers from Mexico to replace the high paid American drivers, he's doing all he can to bring wages down further and further. That's what his masters want him to do.
It is NOT Obama who is bringing in these mexican truck drivers. Allowing those drivers to enter the US was part of the NAFTA agreement (I believe), a part that had been successfully stalled for 10 years. I guess mexico is now putting our feet to the fire to fulfill our agreement.
It sucks, IMO.

American wages were tied to American productivity until Ronnie Raygun. The wages have stayed flat or decreased but the productivity has about trippled. The resulting profit has concentrated into the coffers of the 1%. No wonder the country is in trouble.

Obama was also pushing to get this through when he should have put a hold or stop to it.
If Obama cared anything at all about jobs for the American people, the first thing he would have done is put NAFTA back on the table to be modified along with the other trade deals, and of course limit how many people come over here especially illegally to work and take jobs and drive down wages.

Actually it was being held up because the mehican trucks couldn't pass the safety or environmental standards can't remember which it was. What did they do? Well they paid for it with our taxpayer money and now they can roll on in.

However, independent U.S. truckers are not entitled to the same deal.
“If I don’t pass my smog test I have to pay to fix my truck in order to get it registered,” says Tom Matthews of San Diego. “Not only are these rigs getting taxpayer money to upgrade their trucks, but they are competing with me for work. That’s just plain wrong.”
Obama's actions on this lacked transparency... What a surprise.
