I'm not a rightie or a leftie - but have you conveniently forgotten how inept Obama has been on this Libya fiasco from the get-go? Have you also forgotten how inept NATO has been in it as well? Because the rebels finally won, does not mean a job well done. Both NATO and President Obama/State Dept. get a nice big fat F for their handling of this. Many conflicts have been won that have been handled horrendously - this is one of them. The only credit that can be given is to those who actually did the fighting and (somehow) persevered.
They cheered when the inept legalists backed and controlled by America ripped off Saddam's head with a big scratchy and I am sure very itchy rope...so what did that do? Iraq is now offically back in the stone age..great work America! Obama - is just some front for fat rich guys - who prosper through lucrative military contracts if there is a conflict - artifical or other wise - It does not matter to them.
Nato probably killed with their high tech bombing runs - as many innocent civilians as they did so-called bad guys..Lybia will resent the west for the next few generations as does Iraq.. as for these "rebels" I saw a clip of them tossing bodies over a bridge and screaming "God is great" - same old crap- you can not exile the proverbial satan useing the methods of satan.
Absolutely. The righties were jumping for joy when the Bush invaded Iraq under false pretenses but when Obama got bin Laden, there wasn't a peep out of them.
Now, without a single U.S. soldier killed, Quaddafi is dead and the world is rid of another murderous dictator. This is a good thing and, of course, the righties will be quiet because they can't possibly give credit to Obama.

Thousands March in Manhattan Against War

It was a beautiful day for a demonstration - sunny, breezy and just warm enough - as more than 100,000 New Yorkers took to the streets today to protest the war in Iraq.
For four hours beginning at noon, the peaceful crowd ambled, danced and marched down Broadway from Herald Square to Waverly Place and then over to Washington Square Park. The organizers of the march said that the crowd exceeded a quarter of a million; the police declined to give an official estimate.

I've still not seen anyone in our government define who the "rebels" actually are. Probably never will. Now the islamists have control of Egypt and Libya. What country do you want next is probably what our leaders are asking. Syria anybody?
Those in control lie to the left as well as the right. As if they would tell people the truth..that would disempower the powers that be. That would not assist the status quo one bit! When an oil guy who is used to sitting at a board room table decides he is going to wage a war - which will be costly because he has no expertise` in this area...is a foolish and cowardly act. Cheney is a nasty little self righteous man - but he got his in the end - Like a robot in pegatory - with a battery pack strapped to his sick ass. Knowing that your very next breath is dependent not on yourself or God but on some device and some egg head team of high paid doctors that have total control over you - Cheney use to parrot the word freedom...and in the end - he lost every last bit of his..so goes it with hypocrites - and torture...now it is his turn.
