Get your a$$ out there and earn your way like everyone else did. Get and education and make your way in life. It is not the responsibility of anyone else to pay your way.
Look. I know you think you're such a great patriot and loyal working man with your working man work ethic....LOL
But the fact of the matter is your counterpart in some slum in Calcutta India, and you counterpart in some Rio flavela...is bragging how loyal and how great they it have as well.
Scared, low IQ, worker ants hoping some rich boss throws them a bone don't impress me.
We have a Constitution that no other nation on earth has.
I am not scared at all. I am not a "worker ant" (that's socialism). I am not "hoping" for any handout, never did, never will (I am a professional sales person who has had to earn my income for the last 25 years based on MY skills, which are better than most).
My IQ is quite high, thank you.
I do question you "liberal elites" on here who brag about their education pedigree, yet cannot make ends meet. (just like the 99%er morons)
I've mentioned this before as far as the middle class but are people taking into account how technology has shrunked the U.S middle class? Nowadays with the advancements in computer and robotic technology companies need fewer workers to do middle class paying jobs. How do you deal with that?
I keep hearing about income inequality but my question is what is the best solution to this? I thought this economist gave some interesting insights on this topic.
Well, first you have to stop printing money at the Federal Reserve and giving it to banks. Obviously that is going to cause inequality.
Some people say the solution is to force banks to lend. I don't agree with that. I think we should force banks to lend their own money, find their own reserves, instead of allowing them to borrow reserves risk-free from the Fed.
If we're going to print money and increase the monetary base, then that money needs to be distributed in an equitable fashion, and find its way into the hands of the average person.

The solution?
Yes, we DO need wealth redistribution, but at the highest levels.
We need it for a period of time. Mainly to counteract the legislation that skewed the playing field in the first place.
After that? Level the playing field. Everyone, including the mom and pop shop on up to the biggest corporation should have the same opportunities. Right now? They don't.
The people also need more power. We need to be able to say "NO, we DON'T want another Walmart in town." and make it stick. Right now? It doesn't. Mainly because of corrupt local governments.
...and we also need to get the money out of DC, period.
Redistribution can work in the short term, but I don't believe these modern European systems will work in the long term as generations become accustomed to it. It's already starting to crumble.
Denmark? I think you mean Denmark along with pretty much every other country in Europe.
And blind followers of emotion who ignore the facts in order to argue in favor of their utopian vision of society don't impress me.
It's actually comical that you think Western Europe is on the verge of breakdown because of redistribution....They've had highly progressive tax systems for generations...100 years...they treat people humanely over there. And they are doing fine. ...I know you love to point to temporary downturns that the whole World is going through to lie about them...but they are doing fine.
Highest taxes in the World.
Biggest goverment in relation to GDP in the World
Has one of the most progressive tax system in the World
Has one of the smallest gaps between rich and poor in the World
Also the happiest country in the World
One of the least corrupt countries in the World
A higher standard of living than the USA
Most press freedoms in the World
Most educated, universal health care, wonderful vacation/retirement benefits.
"Redistribution doesn't work"......LOL
How long are white middle class voters going to fall for this right wing propaganda that income inequality is a good thing?
denmark has a third of the population of florida! it has huge energy resources which make it a net energy exporter and also help fund some of their welfare state.
here's the overhead smash. denmark's top corporate tax rate is 10% lower than ours.

I never said they were on the verge of breakdown, but they are having problems. But it's irrelevant, because America / Denmark is a ridiculously stupid comparison any way you look at it. You know it is. So stop.
The closest you'll get is the UK (and that's not even very close), and they aren't doing much better than us.
