Livid lower Manhattan residents went off on Zuccotti Park protesters at a heated Community Board 1 meeting last night and blasted politicians for not controlling the chaos.
“They’re defecating on our doorsteps,” fumed board member Catherine Hughes, a stay-at-home mom who lives one block from the protest. “The cowbells start at 4 a.m. and the drumming goes past 10 p.m. A lot of people are very frustrated. A lot of people are concerned about the safety of our kids.”

They are complaining about 'noise, public urination and defication and disruptive barricades' but the board unanimously voted for a resolution supporting the protesters rights in the park.
Huh?

Since the park is private property, there is no reason that the owner cannot demand that the police remove the protesters from the park. This kind of behavior, defecating in public and on someone else's property just shows the level of the people involved.

Let them take their "movement" to Battery Park, public property, and see how long Blumberg puts up with it.

I read that the organizers collected over $500,000. Rent some Port-A-Potties for these people to use. Oh, wait!!! When winter comes and the crusty ragtag homeless, mentally ill, drug addicts leave, the organizers can head to a sunny island and resume their activity when Spring comes.

Probably because the complaints are bogus.

They support the protesters but they want them to act civilly, like the conservative TEA party folks do. But this is what the liberal left is, they are the worst part of society.
