This has to be a painful way to die but it couldn't happen to a more deserving despot. Pulled from a sewer pipe only to have a stick stuck in the butt is not a noble way to die.

Here's the footage. It happens at about the fourth and fifth seconds into the footage.

A slow examination of the footage of Gaddafi's captors taking him from the drain pipe to the vehicle. I'm posting a couple of stills. You can see one of the captors inflicting a fairly grizzly injury on Gaddafi.

Here they are in are in reverse order. The lower frame is the thrust. In the upper frame you can see blood as the weapon (stick?) is withdrawn.

So much for "Rules of Engagement", Geneva Convention and POW rights.
These people are bloodthirsty animals and the US Government backed them ?

I'm waiting to see how all these officials can possibly justify their backing of this.
I did read that the UN will "investigate".

If we didn't have the power of the people/internet we'd never know that this was done to him and that he's laying in a public meat locker in some abandoned mall on public display like a trophy.

You're forced to compare yourself to these tribal low-lifes to make US torture look good. ....What a great example your are. No wonder the rest of the civilized World thinks the US is the greatest threat to World peace. With these right wing knuckle draggers celebrating torture.

The ignorance of these RWNJs doesn't surprise me one iota.

Just so we are all clear...those who supported the USA aiding the 'rebels' support this action...right?

Get real. Your messiah in the White House enabled and assisted in these events.

If you want to be taken seriously when condemning others for their support of atrocities you'd do well to get your own house in order first.

Gee.."No need for a full accounting" is what the new government is saying.
Utterly disgusting. Gee, maybe those cellphone pictures and videos are all "made up" ?

U.N. calls for investigation of Gadhafi's death
Officials with the interim government indicated that they would pursue an investigation, although senior military leaders in Misrata, where the bodies were taken, said they saw no need for one. The interim prime minister, Mahmoud Jibril, said Thursday that Gadhafi had been fatally wounded during a firefight.

In Misrata, there appeared to be little concern about the manner of the deaths.

At an ad hoc viewing ceremony in a shopping center at the edge of town, giddy men and children lined up to see Gadhafi's body, lying on a mattress in a meat locker. All that seemed to matter to them was that he was gone.
