Was Gaddafi really a bad man or did US/UK/France help bump him off for political reasons? (interview, enemy)

His policies sound like Racial Socialism to me. I approve of them all. Another great man done away with by the scum of the earth the U.S. Government and its lackies.
"Cheers for communication and mobility, Muammar al-Gaddafi! The predominance of Air signs in your chart favours and amplifies your taste for relations and for all kinds of short trips, whether real (travels) or symbolic (new ideas, mind speculations). You gain in flexibility and adaptability what you lose in self-assertion or in pragmatism."
"Muammar al-Gaddafi, Fire is dominant in your natal chart and endows you with intuition, energy, courage, self-confidence, and enthusiasm! You are inclined to be passionate, you assert your willpower, you move forward, and come hell or high water, you achieve your dreams and your goals. The relative weakness of this element is the difficulty to step back or a kind of boldness that may prompt you to do foolish things."
Gaddafi was planning to introduce a 'Gold Dinar' currency which would have redefined the global financial system. I can't imagine the US being happy about that.
Right. Was the court system in Libya shariah? No. Keep an eye on Dearborn or just watch what happens in Libya. We shall see who is speaking the truth, and who wants to dispurse lies.
Yes, Libya court system had plenty of sharia in it. Unfortunately for many Linyans, they were not entiteled to any kind of court hearing before their execution.
This is sharia law, pure ans simple.
Quote:
The Proclamation of People's Authority designates the Holy Quran as the law of society. The Libyan legal system largely follows Egyptian codes and precedents. All cases relating to personal status are dealt with according to Muslim law. Minor civil and commercial cases may be heard in summary courts by a sitting judge in each village and town. Other cases of the first instance are heard by courts of first instance, and appeals may be taken to three courts of appeal, located in Tripoli, Benghazi, and Sabha. A separate body called the Shari'ah Court of Appeals hears cases appealed from the lower courts involving Islamic law. There is also a Supreme Court, consisting of a president and judges appointed by the GPC. It may deal with constitutional and legislative questions referred to it and may hear administrative cases. Special revolutionary courts try political offenses. In 1981, the private practice of law was abolished and all lawyers became employees of the secretariat of justice. Since 1981, revolutionary committees have been encouraged to conduct public trials without legal safeguards.
The 1994 Purge Law provides for the confiscation of private assets above a certain amount. The law requires that the confiscated property should be given to the poor.
