Georgia man convicted in plot to seize courthouse | The Associated Press | News | Washington Examiner (http://washingtonexaminer.com/news/2011/10/ga-man-convicted-plot-seize-tn-courthouse - broken link)
Why this doesn't surprise me. He was not a member of a militia he is a member of Oath Keepers a group made up of ex military and present military ex and present police officers and others who have taken the oath to the constitution to defend this country against domestic enemies.Wouldn't expect some liberal rag like the washington examiner to know what the hell they are talking about. Love the buzz words there. Domestic terrorist,assault rifle. I wish him the best he has people standing with him.Big surprise the idiots on the jury believed falsehoods brought up by some dirty cops who hate the oath keepers. In the end we all know who pays you for your loyalty and we won't forget.
yes, a sovereign citizen wannabe milita man (and a known kook), who along with Walter Fitzpatrick (another known kook), tried to take over a Tennessee court and arrest the Grand Jury foreman because said court didn't want to address the issue of birther claims brought by Walter Fitzpatrick
the only kangaroo here was Darren Huff, who thought he could bully his way into a court while packing guns in his truck, and thought he could get away with it.
Try watching the video of what REALLY happened when he was harassed for supposedly running a stop sign. Doesn't take 5 thugs with badges to pull someone over for running a stop sign and doing a felony stop.

LOL!
The Washington Examiner... is owned by Denver billionaire Philip Anschutz.
When Anschutz started the Examiner in its current format, he envisioned creating a conservative competitor to The Washington Post. According to Politico.com, "When it came to the editorial page, Anschutz’s instructions were explicit — he 'wanted nothing but conservative columns and conservative op-ed writers,' said one former employee." The Examiner's conservative writers include Byron York (National Review), Michael Barone (American Enterprise Institute, Fox News), and David Freddoso (National Review, author of The Case Against Barack Obama). Conservative blogger Matthew Sheffield is in charge of the Examiner's web site.
As one of the world's richest billionaires, Philip Anschutz has been making a name for himself in the philanthropic community by financially supporting a number of strongly conservative organizations. He was listed on Forbes list of Billionaires as number 123 with a networth of 6 billion in March 2010. Anschutz has funded a number of ultra-conservative and/or Christian organizations including the following:
Institute for American Values, which campaigns against same-sex marriage and against single parenting;
Colorado for Family Values (CFV), the organization behind Colorado's notorious anti-gay constitutional amendment, Amendment 2, approved by the voters in 1992 and later overturned by the US Supreme Court;
Enough is Enough, whose President and CEO is Donna Rice Hughes (the major figure in the sex scandal that ended the 1987 campaign of Gary Hart, in the Democratic presidential primary), and which claims that it is "Lighting the way to protect children and families from the dangers of illegal Internet pornography and sexual predators";
Morality in the Media, established in 1962 "to combat obscenity and uphold decency standards in the media."
Let me get this straight: He said to several witnesses (including the FBI) that he was going to join a group to storm the courthouse, then showed up armed en route to the courthouse on the date he and his dumbass buddies had declared the takeover would take place, with an "arrest order" in the truck. Always hard to determine intent, but this one seems pretty clear-cut.
You got any witnesses besides the thugs that work for Obama? So carrying a gun now is illegal...its called the 2nd amendment he carried his guns EVERYWHERE he went not just one this 1 day. He went to get his friend out of jail where the scum had thrown him without charging him he said in the video its self he was not planning on anything illegal. It must be nice to live in yer cozy little world where you can trust the government to help you. Remember they helped at Waco and Ruby Ridge and dozens of other places to.It is not clear cut only thing that is clear cut is he was set up with false testimony by a government that calls people who take a pledge to defend the constitution terrorists! Oh as you can see above before I put 2 of the 3 stooges on ignore they consider a man defending the constitution a kook and a terrorist and a nut case....well since they don't want to abide by the constitution don't expect any quarter when the judgement day comes.
