If you need the government to tell you how to parent, even if it's positive parenting, you suck as a parent. If you look to the government for morals, you are a freaking moron.

End of story.

I actually agree with that, but, our government encourages poor parents to have children by passing out freebies. The more children they produce the more freebies come available..

Agreed, but lets be honest, the type of people that are that easily encouraged are probably going to be f... ups, no matter what type of government we have. If you are an idiot under Stalinist Russia, you will be an idiot under Reagan's America.

Again this is true, but, why are we paying for them to be idiots? If we stopped, even an idiot would understand that if they have to raise children on their own it will cost more than they have and while it might not stop the first child from coming, it may well stop the subsequent 8 to follow...

Because by and large our parents did a better job of raising us. Kids have to stop having kids and then turning them out on the street and we have to teach our children that you don't start a family until you can afford to, and to take care of them properly. As long as we are rewarding bad behavior this mentality will continue. You get pregnant? No problem..Go get your free housing, food stamps and your welfare check. You don't have to listen to your parents, just do what you please and the government will care for you. This is exactly what is crumbling our society today. Contrary to Hillarys belief that it takes a village to raise a child, it takes two strong parents with ideals and commitment to the best interest of their children.
Ditto. A strong family is first. It may take a 'village' in the communal sense, but don't expect the government to teach Timmy to tie his shoes...or has that happened already?

Not quite that simple. Government assistance may be part of it. But there's a human element- sex is an accessible, fun activity that anyone, regardless of SES can afford. Unfortunately as well, these young women may view having a child as a way to 'keep' a man. Also, if one of the guy's girlfriends has a kid, the 'other' girlfriend' may want to have a child to stay on equal footing. Of course we know how dating with multiple kids while you're young yourself doesn't exactly open up the pool to the most eligible candidates. And thus the cycle repeats iself. This may be an extreme example, but also common.

My question: Why do these attacks keep happening?

Because the politically correct liberal media insists on ignoring black-on-white crimes. And black privilege allows the kids to get away with it.

the rise of the flash mobs, and how the media is ignoring it and hiding its racial make up
Why does the media refuse to report the ethnicity of the attackers and their targets?

Chicago Tribune editor Gerald Kern admitted, "We do not reference race unless it is a fact that is central to telling the story." How will we know if a fact is central to a story unless we have context? How can we understand racial violence when the media conceals racial facts? If the race of victims and attackers is withheld, how can we observe a pattern of behavior if there is one?

Doesn't surprise me.Maybe when one of these thugs gets their head blown off it will make the rest take heed.
One of these days people will take the responsibility to arm themselves seriously. Even OC spray will go a long way with felons in training like these thuggish brats.

Single parent homes or homes in which both parents are working and no one is being responsible to watch the minors in the home. Ultimately it is the parents' responsiblity to keep their kids under control.

I think there needs to be a "news" forum or "off topic" for post like these. It doesn't really fit in the politics area. I don't understand what the argument is here, or what political concept, policy or politician is up for debate and discussion.
