I don't understand. Is this decision a lack of emotional intelligence?

I know educated people who voted for George W. Bush, sometimes smart people do really stupid things.

what % does Western medicine save with pancreatic cancer? ..... 0% so he had no chance with conventional medicine and not a great one otherwise. So what exactly did he do wrong? he didn't hurt what remaining time he had left. and lived it to the fullest he could. What more can anyone do?

Jobs was diagnosed with a pretty rare form of pancreatic cancer that's actually been treated successfully more often than not here in the states.

I have only heard snippets about this.

From what I have seen about Mr. Jobs, he was very enthralled with Eastern Religions, alternative medicines, and other tenets of the counter culture. Such things are generally harmless, sometimes very helpful, and may well have influenced him at Apple.

However, he may have made a deadly mistake by rejecting conventional Cancer treatment. I think he himself regretted this. I mean, its not like they do not utilize chemo in Japan and India.

The 2008 elections definitely proved that.

Jobs' primary intelligence was in marketing, which places him slightly below igneous rocks on the global intellect scale.

Who said that Steve Jobs was smart? He was a hustler who marketed other poeples ideas.

Mean but true statement. I have never figured out why anyone would buy an apple for anything but the taste.

People handle things differently. It's a personal choice. He was obviously intelligent, but chose a different path than some other people would choose (you, apparently).

Is your question indicative of a lack of emotional intelligence?
