If you are going to be an idiot and give your children a name that is going to get their ***** kicked every day you are unfit. Let them at least get to 18. Then if they want to change their name to get their ***** kicked, well they are adults.

I'm not sure state custody is the answer, but I have to agree that naming your kid Hitler is a bit overboard. Sitting on the fence, I have to say 51% of me says state intervention is justified, and 49% is not justified.
That child deserves a chance just like the rest of us, and the name "Hitler" just won't give him that chance.
Anyone that would name a child that name is not concerned with raising the child in a healthy way. They are only interested in their own ego and how that child can be used in some public statement.

And I believe they were found not guilty of the charges last I read on this. The guy is a nutjob neo nazi whacko but the state has no right to take his kid at all. What's funny is I saw a vid of this guy a while back and he has all these nazi symbols tattoo's all over him and hangin on the walls and he says oh we're just normal parents. lol
If you take all the kids away from their kook parents the government would have to annex a state or two to house em all.

What about celebrities who name their children strange names? Should they be taken?
What about the names that some African Americans name their children? I once has a black neighbor who named her son "Jihad". Should they be removed?
I would be embarrassed to be related to a person who would name their child hitler, but the state has absolutely no constitutional authority to take children for that reason.
