Some people can rationalize what it means. I think its meaning is fairly clear.
Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God
What is there to interpret.
Are you of the mind that everything in the Bible was meant to be taken literally?
Were Christ's Parables just stories or were they meant to convey a lesson? Is the Book of Revelation a literal book?
You're attempting to use a Biblical passage to push your agenda. It's disingenuous. You'd be among the first to call a conservative on it if they tried the same thing.

Not a parable it was an analogy. Do you not know the difference? You also did not respond to the other sections from your own cite.
It it is difficult to obtain wealth without sin, without avarice, without covetousness, fraud, and oppression, 1 Timothy 6:9-10, 1 Timothy 6:17; James 5:1-5; Luke 12:16-21; Luke 16:19-31.
Are you out of your mind trying to debate God? You can debate me all day, but I did not write the new testament. Take it up with the Author. This is Jesus' agenda. I have never once used politics in this thread?

I didn't respond as they were not in your post when I quoted it. As far as it being difficult to obtain wealth without sin that's true. It's certainly easier to become rich by being ruthless than it is through hard work, discipline, and sound judgment. That said, wealth can be attained with honor.
I'm not in any way debating God. I'm calling you out on your transparent attempt to use the Bible to push your political agenda.
Are you out of your mind perverting Scripture for attempted political gain?

Please explain how I am perverting scripture and what is the political gain ?
Greed is the constant in advancement of society. If it werent for greed and the aspiration for greater wealth, the life expectency would still be in the 30's. What essentially your arguing again is your displeasure with the capatalist system. Unless everyone took in the same income, there will alway be variations in wealth.

As I said before you are attempting to use the literal wording of a cherry picked verse to justify your belief in redistribution of wealth.
I'm sure you'll continue denying it so rather than waste any more bandwidth disputing your intent I'll withdraw from the argument and give you the last word.

I am not making an argument. I am stating a fact as to what is in the new testament. Greed is a sin. You are probably right that to be rich you must also be greedy, which is why the rich are not likely to find their way into heaven according to the new testament.
I can think of at least one saint who was born into wealth and stayed that way for his entire life. That doesn't include popes.
Wealth becomes power for good if used correctly. There's nothing wrong with being wealthy and the verse in the Bible that gets the most misquoting is "Money is the root of all evil". It's "the love of money" that's the problem, and there are plenty of avaricious poor, middle class and rich people guilty of this.

I can't speak to whether someone that the Catholic church made a saint made it into heaven. I can only tell you what the scripture says.
