Then who did?
A question to all of those who oppose the OWS movement....

Of course some will say it was one political party or the other that is to blame as if they are not all bought and paid for puppets of the financial lobbyist.

Others will say it was all of those sorry ass sub-prime home buyers who did not pay their bills... To that I ask; who was the pimp / dealer of said sub-prime products?

I watch a lot of documentaries. I know who caused the problem. I know it spans back 30 years or more across both red and blue political administrations. I also know that I am a Working Class American Citizen who has no representation in Washington and no lobbyists helping to push my agenda. And I still do not have access to AFFORDABLE health care for my family. Note I wrote AFFORDABLE not free....

How can anyone with at least two brain cells to rub together look at the history and the current information that is out there and think that we should not be protesting??? The fix is only good if you are in on it.....

...............................................peo ple blowing time out their ass at an OWS rally. people who want things for free so they don't have to work. people who thought exporting to other countries was a good idea. people who made it so exporting was cheaper (unions demanding higher wages) and so that america was a service based country and imports more goods than it exports. ect...... its not one thing that did it. so don't think their is a simple answer and if the people are protesting to get a job. then yay for them. but they are not

Bill Clinton started it with the deregulation of Glass-Steagall!
And if that was not bad enough when attention was called to it first by President George W. Bush 2001 the Liberals said NO PROBLEM Because they had been making millions off it! Barney Frank, Dodd, and others.

Bad decisions by our government caused it. They tore down regulations which were put in place after the stock market crash in the 1920s, they encouraged and harangued banks to loan to risky borrowers, they gave 100% federal financial backing to Fanie Mae and Freddie Mac, as they bought up and bundled risky mortgages.

No or little regulatory oversight, greed, bad laws and cronyism played the key roles in the disaster we endured

C'mon dude. Wall Street is just one of the culprits, and mindlessly blaming Wall Street is going to blind you to reality. There is plenty of blame going around from Congress to the White House to Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to Wall Street to lobbyists and everyone who wanted in on the housing bubble.

Everyone involved has an excuse and is pointing the finger at someone else. No one wants to be blamed and they want to make darn sure to shift the blame to someone else.

The OWS movement is about anti-capitalism, and begging for more socialism. Wall street could not get big fat bailouts or rip off the people if our government was not allowing them and even encouraging them to do so. The OWS fools should be at the nation's capital. OWS is like protesting against school children for buying drugs and giving the drug dealers a complete pass.

So how about that dirty little word "regulation". Appears that it is a vile term to both reds and blues...
Dodd / Frank was anemic at best but the reds still want it repealed... Wonder who they are looking out for???

Who do you think was protecting Fannie/Freddie?
THE LIBERALS thats who. There are many youtube videos and articles on this look it up. I'ts sickening that the Liberals were allowed to brush it off to anyone on the other side of the political party. Even during the McCain/obama campaign.
