Slaughterhouse is used for that very reason. That is their job. It isn't these pricks with badges job to kill a cow doing nothing except trying to get away. Christs sakes. They not only killed the cow doing no harm to anyone they also put people in harms way by firing indiscriminately.
I normally don't like to pick on/attack the Police but in this case I will. What a waste of taxpayer money being paid to them. They should be work not screwing off and not wasting bullets on a cow that has nothing to do with the responsibility of being a Police Officer.
They are a disgrace to the Uniform and Profession.
I know it's terrifying to realize the hamburgers you shove into your mouth are actually living creatures, but people should have known it long before now. It's easy to forget when you are buy wrapped containers at the super market. It should not be scary to see what it is you are eating.
These ~1,500 steer (not cows, read the story) just ended their lives a bit different then getting a high voltage electrical shock to the back of the head, a pneumatic bolt slammed into the front, and their throats slit after being turned upside down.
They were wondering near an elementary school full of children, and a 1,500 pound animal is not exactly a pleasant thing to ram in your car if they were left wondering about the road. Plus the owner of the animals gave the cops the go ahead to deal with the animals the best way the could with public saftey in mind.
That was disgusting. Any rancher could have easily caught the cow. Just another example of mindless abuse.
